Terms & Conditions

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the contractual relationship between ICON Shop ("we", "the Seller") and you ("the Buyer") when purchasing products from the icon-shop.ro platform. By placing an order, you accept these Terms in full.

2. Products and Prices

We reserve the right to modify prices at any time without prior notice. The price applicable to your order is that displayed at the time of placing the order, expressed in RON and inclusive of applicable VAT. Product photographs are for illustration only. Actual colours may vary slightly from on-screen images due to display settings. Product descriptions are compiled with maximum accuracy; in the event of a material error, the order may be cancelled with a full refund. Stock levels are updated in real time. ICON Shop cannot guarantee product availability until payment is completed.

3. Order Process

An order is considered placed when: 1. You have added the desired products to your cart 2. You have completed your delivery and billing details 3. You have selected a payment method and completed the transaction 4. You have received an order confirmation by email The sale contract is concluded at the moment of email confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where fraudulent activity is detected or a product is unavailable, with a full refund.

4. Payment

We accept payment by bank card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via the Stripe payment processor. Transactions are secured by SSL/TLS encryption and comply with PCI-DSS Level 1 standards. Payment is processed in full at the time of placing the order. ICON Shop does not store your card data. A fiscal receipt or invoice is issued electronically and sent by email within 24 hours of payment confirmation. If the transaction is declined, the order is cancelled automatically. Please check your card details or contact your bank.

5. Delivery and Shipping

We deliver throughout Romania and to EU member states. Delivery timescales and costs are detailed on the Shipping & Returns page. • Romania: 1–3 business days via express courier • European Union: 3–7 business days • Free shipping in Romania for orders over 1000 RON Orders are processed within 24–48 hours on business days. Risk of damage or loss transfers to the Buyer when the parcel is collected by the courier. ICON Shop is not liable for delays caused by external factors (weather conditions, strikes, etc.).

6. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

Under EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU and Romanian OUG nr. 34/2014, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days of receiving the products, without providing a reason and without penalty. To initiate a return: 1. Send an email to contact@icon-shop.ro with the subject "Return Order #[order number]" 2. Pack the product in its original packaging (or equivalent), with all labels intact 3. The product must be unworn, unwashed, and undamaged 4. Ship the product to the address provided by our team 5. Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the parcel Return costs are borne by the Buyer, except where the product is defective or incorrectly delivered. Refunds are made via the same payment method used at checkout. Non-returnable items: personalised articles, intimate apparel (for hygiene reasons), products with a broken seal indicating hygiene or health protection grounds.

7. Warranty and Conformity

All products carry a 2-year statutory guarantee of conformity from the date of delivery, under Romanian Law no. 449/2003 and EU Directive 2019/771. In the event of a conformity defect, you are entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction, or contract termination. Conformity defects must be reported within 2 months of discovery. 8. Limitation of Liability

ICON Shop is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the products, to the extent permitted by Romanian law. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the value of the order that gave rise to the claim. ICON Shop does not guarantee that the site will be available without interruption or free from errors, though we make every reasonable effort to ensure this.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on icon-shop.ro — including texts, images, logos, design, and source code — is the property of ICON Shop or is licensed from third parties and is protected by copyright law. Copying, reproduction, or commercial use without the written consent of ICON Shop is prohibited.

10. User Account

Creating an account on icon-shop.ro is optional. You are responsible for the security of your password and account. ICON Shop is not liable for unauthorised access resulting from user negligence. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that breach these Terms.

11. ICON Loyalty Programme

Loyalty points are awarded exclusively for completed, paid orders. Points have no monetary value, are non-transferable, and may be withdrawn if the associated order is returned. ICON Shop reserves the right to modify or suspend the loyalty programme with 30 days’ prior notice.
